Master of Science in Nutrition 

 

1. Nutrition Core Requirements: 11 credit hours

MATH 6363: Research Statistics
NUTR 6325: Advanced Nutrition I
NUTR 6330: Advanced Nutrition II
NUTR 6216: Nutrition and Dietetics Research

2. Nutrition Electives: 9 credit hours

3. Other Electives: 4 - 6 credit hours

4. Capstone or Thesis Option: 4 - 9 credit hours

NUTR 6XCS: 4 - 6 credit hours of Capstone: Master's Project
or 
NUTR 63TP: 3 credit hours of Thesis Proposal and NUTR 6XTR: 3 - 6 credit hours of Thesis
Research *continued enrollment until completion of Thesis is required

5. Comprehensive Exam

All students in the M.S. Nutrition program are required to pass the comprehensive exam, normally taken during the final semester of the program.
